the parents dilemma

To release ones son or daughter to university is never easy. But it also doesn’t have to be hard.

Sending students off to university marks one of the biggest transitions a parent can experience. For many years they have invested their sweat and tears into raising their children. For the first time they let them out of the “nest” to witness them “learn to fly” as a budding adult.

One of the big questions that parents have is whether they will see their budding young adult flourish and succeed. At CCY we work to create that environment where every student can be surrounded by the right friends and receive answers to the questions they have and get the attention they need to be the best they can be.

It makes it a lot easier for parents to transition into this new phase of life if there is someone on the “receiving end” of the process, someone who they can trust to walk with their kids and be surrounded by healthy relationships and leadership opportunities.

One major way a parent can support their child is by supporting the Living Faith Society. The Living Faith Society is the group of supporters who get in behind CCY to provide amazing retreats, events, programming and support staff.

The Living Faith Society is CCY’s online monthly giving program. It supports the ongoing operational needs of our ministry. Essentially, this is CCY’s giving/online program for former students, current students, parents, parishioners, and others to conveniently support our mission.

By giving through the Living Faith Society, your gift will fund everything from the student organizations and retreats to the WiFi we use!

To join the Living Faith Society, simply set up a recurring donation by using the donation form on this page. You will automatically be added after that!

One Way To Help Your Child in Uni
the Bible tells us to trust in God with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. This is sometimes true in university. However, having a supportive community helps the process!
